A normal service
A routine service cleans the filters, wipes the cover and coil, clears drainage and checks performance. It is quick and ideal for regular upkeep every few months.
A chemical wash
A chemical wash is a deep clean. The technician dismantles the unit and cleans the coil and blower with chemical solution to remove built-up grime, mould and odour that a normal service cannot reach. It takes longer but revives weak, smelly units.
Which do you need?
If cooling has dropped noticeably, the unit smells musty, or it has been a long time since the last deep clean, a chemical wash is worth it. For routine upkeep, a normal service is enough. Unsure? We will advise honestly after a quick look.
